Evan Henry is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter and composer based out of Brooks Alberta. Music has always been a big part of Evan’s life and growing up he was encouraged to take lessons on piano before also studying bass and electric guitar. His music takes inspiration from all different genres including: jazz, funk, soul, classical, rock and blues. In 2022, he began studying songwriting at Prairie College under the direction of composer and pianist, Denis Baptista. During this time, Evan has been writing songs and working towards recording a 5 song EP titled “Mr. Optimist” which is scheduled to be released on May 31st, 2024.He is passionate about creating music that is unique and tells its own story.
